Repair Warranty Policy
At Hard Surface Heroes, we are committed to providing high-quality repair services for hard surfaces, including but not limited to countertops, doors, flooring, tiles, baths, sinks, and other similar surfaces. This Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which we offer warranties on our repair services. Our goal is to ensure customer satisfaction and confidence in the durability and quality of our workmanship.
Hard Surface Heroes provides a durable, high-quality finish that saves you both time and money whilst reducing your carbon footprint. Repairing and/or resurfacing offers an alternative to replacement and whilst the repaired or resurfaced items or areas may look like new, they are not brand-new products.
Warranty Coverage
Scope of Warranty:
This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials used in the repair of hard surfaces by Hard Surface Heroes. Specifically, it includes:
Repairs that fail to restore the hard surface to its intended functional condition.
Defects or issues that arise directly as a result of the repair work performed by Hard Surface Heroes.
Flaking, peeling and general failure of adhesion to the surface repaired by Hard Surface Heroes.
Duration of Warranty
The warranty is valid for a period of 24 months from the date of the completed repair.
Any claims made after the warranty period will not be covered unless otherwise specified in writing by Hard Surface Heroes.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover the following:
- Damage resulting from misuse, impact damage, interference, abuse, or neglect of the repaired surface.
- Normal wear and tear, including minor scratches, stains, or discoloration that occur over time.
- Failure to follow the correct guidance and/ or after care advice following a repair.
- Damage caused by exposure to extreme environmental conditions (e.g., excessive heat, moisture, or chemical exposure).
- Discolouration of the repair through chemicals and/ or dyes.
- Any repairs or modifications made by parties other than Hard Surface Heroes after the initial repair.
- Pre-existing conditions or damage that was not repaired by Hard Surface Heroes.
- Presence of rust in any form.
- Transferring of warranties is not permitted.
- Removal or replacing any fixtures is done so out of courtesy at the customer’s request and the responsibility for any damage is placed upon the customer.
- Our technicians may remove or loosen items that may hinder the repair and will be responsible for returning them to their original place unless the age or general condition of such fittings make it impossible to do so.
- Refusal of reattendance will invalidate this warranty.
Warranty Claims Process
Reporting a Warranty Claim:
To make a warranty claim, customers must contact Hard Surface Heroes within the warranty period and provide details of the issue, including photos if possible.

Assessment of Claims:
Upon receiving a warranty claim, Hard Surface Heroes will assess the issue to determine whether it is covered under this warranty.
If necessary, a representative will visit the site to inspect the repair and identify the cause of the issue.
Resolution of Claims:
If the issue is determined to be covered under the warranty, Hard Surface Heroes will, at its discretion, either:
Repair the defect at no additional cost to the customer.
Provide a refund of the original repair cost.
If the issue is not covered under the warranty, the customer will be informed of the reasons, and any further repairs will be subject to standard service charges.
Customer Responsibilities
Proper Use and Maintenance:
Customers are responsible for properly using and maintaining the repaired surface according to manufacturer guidelines and any specific instructions provided by Hard Surface Heroes
Failure to follow proper care and maintenance procedures may void this warranty.
Timely Reporting:
Customers must report any issues covered under this warranty as soon as they become apparent. Delays in reporting may affect the ability to provide a warranty resolution.
Limitation of Liability
This warranty is limited to the repair or refund options outlined above. Hard Surface Heroes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the repair work or any defects covered by this warranty.
The total liability under this warranty is limited to the original cost of the repair.
Amendments and Modifications
Hard Surface Heroes reserves the right to amend or modify the terms of this warranty policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to customers in writing and will apply to future repairs.
Governing Law
This warranty policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales
Policy Approval
This Warranty Policy has been approved by Hard Surface Heroes’ Management Team and is effective as of 15th June 2025. It applies to all repairs of hard surfaces performed by Hard Surface Heroes on or after this date.
